A Space for Knowledge, Dialogue and International Exchange
Located in Innovation District CPH, the visitor centre serves as a platform where ministries, regions, organisations and private companies meet with international delegations. The space is designed to support high-level dialogue while remaining open, approachable and human in scale. Spatial planning plays a key role in creating this balance, with clear sightlines and intuitive circulation that make the environment easy to understand and navigate. The layout allows the centre to host a wide range of activities, from presentations and briefings to workshops and informal conversations, ensuring that knowledge exchange feels natural rather than staged.

Flexible Design Rooted in Scandinavian Calm
The interior is grounded in Scandinavian design principles, where natural materials, soft colours and a restrained expression create a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Contemporary Danish furniture and tactile surfaces add warmth, while the overall palette remains light and balanced to support focus and reflection. Flexibility is an integral part of the design. Light curtains are used as a dynamic element, allowing the space to be divided into zones or opened up as needed. This makes it possible to adapt the environment quickly to changing formats, audiences and purposes, without compromising the coherent overall expression.

A Cohesive Setting for Future Healthcare Solutions
Materiality and spatial clarity ensure that complex content can be presented without visual noise. Digital elements and presentation tools are integrated naturally into the space, supporting storytelling and demonstrations while remaining secondary to the physical environment. The visitor centre was realised end to end in close collaboration with the agency ZUPA, ensuring a strong alignment between communication strategy and spatial design. The completed space functions as a professional yet welcoming setting that strengthens Healthcare Denmark’s mission and creates meaningful connections across borders — a future-ready environment designed to support dialogue, collaboration and innovation.

''From the very first meeting, Ambiente showed a natural understanding of our needs and how to translate them into tangible spaces and user experiences. They took our ideas and turned them into a design that fully meets our expectations. The result exceeds what we had imagined. We now have a space that brings people together, shares knowledge and presents our mission in the best possible way – exactly as envisioned from the start.''
