A Flexible Display System With a Clear Brand Expression
In close collaboration with Carpe Diem, Ambiente designed and produced a complete family of in-store display elements suitable for both mono-brand stores and shop-in-shop solutions. The system includes several types of shelving units for duvets, pillows, bedding, bed legs and storage, as well as table displays and a high table for personal meetings. Each element is designed to present products clearly and consistently, ensuring that the Carpe Diem identity remains recognisable regardless of store size or context.
Material Consistency and Crafted Detailing
All display elements are produced in MDF and finished with matte black laminate on all visible fronts, creating a calm and uniform backdrop for the products. This restrained material choice enhances the perception of quality and allows textiles and materials to stand out clearly. Proportions, edges and surfaces are carefully considered to achieve a refined and durable expression suited for long-term retail use. The simple, Scandinavian aesthetic ensures that the system remains relevant across different retail environments.
Integrated Lighting Supporting Product Presentation and Dialogue
A built-in aluminium profile with integrated LED lighting is incorporated across the display system, adding an exclusive and consistent visual detail. The lighting highlights textures, colours and materials while guiding the customer’s attention naturally through the displays. In addition, the high table with material samples creates a natural setting for personal dialogue between staff and customers, supporting comparison and decision-making. Together, the elements form a functional and elegant retail solution that balances flexibility, clarity and brand presence.
