An Evocative Restaurant Interior Shaped Through Materials, Detail and Atmosphere Experience
Restaurant Eydes set out to create an interior that would support atmosphere, identity and guest experience. Ambiente realised the interior in close collaboration with Anni Gram of Kaki Spaces and selected artists and suppliers. The result is an atmospheric restaurant environment where materials, detailing and cohesion shape the dining experience.

From Interior Vision to Built Reality
At Restaurant Eydes, Ambiente’s role was to realise a clearly defined interior vision developed by Anni Gram of Kaki Spaces. The project involved extensive reconstruction of the building, as well as careful coordination of materials, furnishings and spatial details. Ambiente was responsible for producing and installing key interior elements, ensuring that proportions, surfaces and transitions supported a cohesive and welcoming restaurant environment. Throughout the process, attention to detail and respect for the original design intent were central, allowing the vision to be translated into a functional and durable setting.
Crafted Furniture, Art and Material Balance
A series of bespoke interior elements form the backbone of the restaurant. Ambiente produced oak tables, benches, counters and fixed furnishings tailored specifically to the space. These crafted elements create warmth and material consistency throughout the interior. Six large-scale wall artworks by artist Heidi Zilmer introduce texture and depth through handmade paint and traditional techniques, while green installations by Allestedlund add a living, organic contrast. Together, furniture, art and planting create a balanced atmosphere that feels both refined and relaxed.
An Atmosphere That Guests Choose to Stay In
The interior is designed to support comfort, sensory experience and social interaction. Colours, materials and lighting work together to create a calm and inviting mood, encouraging guests to settle in and enjoy their time at the restaurant. Beyond strengthening Restaurant Eydes’ identity, the new interior has influenced guest behaviour, with visitors staying longer and engaging more fully with the experience. The project demonstrates how thoughtful interior realisation can support both atmosphere and business performance, creating lasting value for the restaurant.
