MINDCRAFT showcased Danish craftsmanship at Milan Design Week – a simple and sculptural exhibition universe where aesthetics and structure met on an international scale.
For 16 years, Ambiente has collaborated with the Danish Ministry of Culture and Copenhagen Design Agency on the realisation of Mindcraft Exhibition – a platform showcasing contemporary Danish craft and design, interpreted by different curators over time. The exhibitions have often taken place in Chiostro Minore di San Simpliciano, a historic cloister in Milan’s Brera district during Milan Design Week. This edition was curated by Ditte Hammerstrøm and featured works by selected artists and designers, each presented on individual podiums connected by a striking yellow structure.
Bringing diverse curators’ ambitious visions to life
With an understanding of curated experiences, Ambiente ensures that ambitious visions are transformed into reality with attention to both the bigger picture and the finer details. In the work for Mindcraft Exhibitions, this included detailed planning, coordination, and on-site implementation involving valuable and fragile items.
"Over the 16 years we have had the pleasure of working with Ambiente, their service and understanding of our needs have always been impeccable. Michael Skjødt and his team understand how important creativity and high quality are to us, and they remain an invaluable partner in turning our visions into reality — always on time and to the agreed standard. On the rare occasions when things do not go exactly as planned, Ambiente can always be relied upon to find alternative solutions and ideas, ensuring that we continue to offer our customers and stakeholders the best possible experience.”
