A Social Sports Environment Shaped by Activity, Community and Atmosphere
Rocket Padel set out to develop a new premium padel concept in Denmark where sport and social life are experienced as one cohesive environment. Ambiente helped shape and realise a design concept that creates identity, atmosphere and functionality across the centres. The result is a welcoming setting where activity, relaxation and community naturally come together.

A padel centre designed for both play and social life
Rocket Padel was conceived as more than a traditional sports facility. The ambition was to create a place where people meet around the sport, but also choose to stay before and after their match. Each centre therefore includes Social Club areas, where lounge zones provide space for conversations, informal gatherings and events. The two levels allow different activities to take place simultaneously, while still feeling like a single shared destination for players and visitors alike. The interior layout is planned around natural movement through the centre. Players, spectators and guests can move easily between courts, lounge areas and social spaces without experiencing disruption to the overall flow. Smaller lounge zones placed close to the courts allow for short breaks and informal moments, while the larger shared areas become a natural meeting point during quieter periods. Storage for sports equipment is discreetly integrated throughout the interior, ensuring the centre remains welcoming and organised even when all courts are in use.
A design concept with a clear and cohesive identity
Ambiente developed a design concept that creates a recognisable identity across the entire centre. Dark tones combined with subtle gold details appear throughout activity zones, lounges and meeting areas, tying the spaces together through a calm and consistent visual language. Wood surfaces, greenery and warm materials introduce balance to the more energetic sports environment, creating an atmosphere where both players and visitors feel comfortable spending time before and after a match. The interior is also designed with durability and everyday use in mind, allowing materials and solutions to withstand constant activity while maintaining their character. Together, the spaces support Rocket Padel’s ambition of creating centres where sport and social interaction naturally intersect. Players come for the game, but the environment encourages them to stay, connect and share moments beyond the court.
