A Reusable Nordic Exhibition Concept Shaped by Sustainable Materials and Modularity

Statkraft needed an exhibition concept that could be reused across multiple fairs, scaled to different footprints and clearly communicate the company’s sustainability ambitions. Ambiente developed a Nordic-inspired stand built from environmentally responsible materials and designed for repeated assembly. The result is a modular concept that supports Statkraft’s long-term exhibition strategy.

From Vision to a Nordic-Inspired Identity
The concept was rooted in Scandinavian simplicity and reflects Statkraft’s commitment to renewable energy. Ambiente developed a modular system that adapts to different stand sizes without losing clarity. Muted tones, natural textures and lighting establish a grounded and welcoming atmosphere, while the overall composition remains intentionally uncluttered, allowing key messages to stand clearly without visual noise.

Sustainable Materials and a Modular System Built for Reuse
Every material was selected to reinforce environmental responsibility while maintaining durability for repeated use. Countertops were made from compressed textiles, while counter fronts were clad in natural wallpaper made of compressed fragrant grasses and herbs. The stand featured PVC-free, carbon-neutral PEFC-certified flooring, acoustic felt panels made from 75% recycled plastic and upholstery chosen for responsible production. The stand was developed as a modular system, allowing walls, counters and display elements to be reassembled and resized to suit different exhibition halls. This adaptability reduces environmental impact and supports long-term reuse, while careful construction ensures that all elements remain robust through repeated installations.

Design, Detail and Technical Execution Working Together
Behind the calm atmosphere lay technical development focused on functionality and durability. Every element was designed for transport, assembly and long-term use. Lighting, material transitions and detailing were resolved to maintain a consistent visual expression. The result is a stand that functions both as an exhibition tool and as a long-term brand asset, flexible and sustainable.
