An Intimate and Sculptural Exhibition Universe Shaped by Warm Materials and Elegance
For Maison & Objet, Furninova needed a stand that translated the brand’s Scandinavian elegance into an intimate and atmospheric universe. Ambiente created a setting shaped by warm materials and lighting. The result is an inviting exhibition space where crafted quality and visual calm define the visitor experience.

A Calm Universe Framed by Strong Elements
The foundation of the stand was a series of four metre high burgundy walls that enclosed the footprint and shielded it from the surrounding fair environment. This strong structure created instant intimacy, allowing visitors to slow down and experience the furniture without visual noise. Rounded corners softened the geometry and guided movement naturally, while recessed lighting added depth and shaped transitions. The combination of height, colour and curved lines gave the stand a clear presence that stood out in the hall.
Materiality and Visual Wow Effects With a Scandinavian Edge
Materiality played a central role in shaping the atmosphere. A textured sand effect paint gave the walls a tactile surface that contrasted with Furninova’s soft upholstery and clean silhouettes. Warm tones created a coherent flow through the space, while carefully layered lighting balanced ambience and product visibility. This interplay of colour, texture and form delivered an understated wow effect aligned with Furninova’s Scandinavian identity, expressive but never overpowering. The internal layout was created for slow exploration. Generous sightlines and wide transitions encouraged visitors to move intuitively between furniture settings. These zones invited guests to sit, touch materials and experience comfort firsthand. The lighting was deliberately warm to enhance textiles and details, ensuring the furniture remained the focal point while the surrounding setting provided a calm frame.
A Stand Brought to Life Through Skilled Execution
Ambiente handled full production and installation, ensuring that the concept translated precisely into a buildable solution. Custom wall structures, corner details and integrated lighting were executed with careful attention to proportion, transitions and surface quality. The final stand felt effortless and intimate, a universe that expressed Furninova’s brand with clarity and warmth.
''The best thing about working with Ambiente is that all we have to do is throw them an idea - they immediately understand what we wish to achieve and can convert it to a complete solution that has been carefully thought through in every detail. They are not just extremely creative and always up-to-date with the latest trends, they are also extremely skilled craftsmen. And they understand the necessity for cost efficiency and for having a business-minded point of view."
