Sculptural Exhibition Stand Design for Luxury Outdoor Furniture
At Salone del Mobile, DEDON required a bespoke exhibition stand that reflected its position within luxury outdoor furniture. Designed as a sculptural architectural environment, the stand combined floating forms, warm tactile materials and refined detailing. Three large fabric clad ceiling rings hovered above the space, creating a soft architectural presence that anchored the furniture settings below. The circular geometry echoed the curves found in DEDON’s woven outdoor furniture, establishing a clear dialogue between product design and architectural expression while guiding visitors naturally through the stand.

Refined Detailing That Brings Craft to Life
In close collaboration with designer Henrik Pedersen, Ambiente helped refine key design elements to ensure a seamless relationship between spatial concept and product detailing. DEDON’s handcrafted woven surfaces were given generous breathing space, allowing each piece to be experienced as both sculptural object and functional outdoor furniture. Carefully balanced material contrasts and integrated lighting highlighted weave structures, curves and shadows, reinforcing the craftsmanship and refinement inherent in each product.

Ambiente handled the full production and construction of the bespoke exhibition stand under tight fair deadlines. Fabric structures, timber components, custom built elements and integrated lighting were engineered with precision to maintain the light, calm expression envisioned during the design phase. The finished exhibition stand formed a warm, immersive brand universe that invited visitors to slow down and experience DEDON’s outdoor living concept in an architectural setting aligned with the expectations of the luxury market.
